We are now looking to recruit a talented individual to the position of Director of Finance & Operations.In this broad and influential position, you will work together with our CEO to oversee our global financial operations and operational processes across regions. You will make an impact on our business on both strategic and operational levels.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis
  • Overseeing the accounting and bookkeeping function including invoicing management
  • Legal customer and vendor contract management
  • Investment strategy and large procurement decisions
  • Technical operations and container fleet management
  • HR functions and team development
  • IT systems optimization
  • Managing our own ERP system
  • Making an impact on the overall success of the company as a management team member


You’ll work independently while collaborating with our international team of experts. Our expectations
The ideal candidate to this position is an experienced finance leader with strong capabilities to lead operational matters. S/he has both a strong business acumen and ability to work with both hands-on and strategic topics. In detail, we expect from you:

  • University degree
  • 10+ years finance and operations management experience
  • Strong financial management background with Finnish GAAP expertise
  • Knowledge of Chinese and US GAAP is considered as an asset
  • Experience with ERP/TMS systems
  • International team management experience
  • Fluent oral and written English (Finnish and other languages are assets)
  • MS Office software proficiency
  • Leadership style collaborative and empowering
  • Experience leading white-collar professionals
  • High cultural sensitivity for Western-Asian business context. Proven track record of building trust-based relationships
  • Balances strategic oversight with practical execution. Willingness to engage in operational details when needed
